Time Line for the American Economic Association Market: Here's a quick summary of how the AEA market works. It's the primary market for academic jobs at the PhD level but a lot of nonacademic employers also use it.
Job Openings for Economists: An online publication listing academic and nonacademic jobs for people with masters degrees or doctorates. Also includes links to a couple of very helpful articles.
APPAM Job Seekers Site: The Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management maintains a web site for job seekers as well.
