Logistics

The course will be held in collaboration with partners from the Center for Advanced Studies on Puerto Rico and the Caribbean on their campus in Old San Juan. It will meet daily from Tuesday, January 3 to Friday, January 13 and will include lectures from local academics who will provide some additional relevant context on geography and natural resources, environmental issues in PR, and climate change in PR and the Caribbean. Tuition for the three credit course is the same as on the main SU campus, but other costs will include fees for housing (roughly $600), and out-of-pocket expenses for airfare, food and others (estimated to be at least $500).
