Software Downloads (p03)

Please take a shot at the following before the next class and then report how things went via the Google Classroom assignment with the same name. If you run into problems, don't worry: there will be time during class that day to sort them out.

1. Go to the Software Packages page and download and install any of the packages in the Core Applications section that you don't have on your computer already. The downloads are pretty large (> 1 GB total) so be sure to do it on a reasonably fast connection.
2. If you run into any trouble or aren't sure how to answer questions that come up during the installation process, feel free to cancel the installation and wait to do it during class on Wednesday.
